Couples therapy focuses on teaching clients a new way of communicating with one another to decrease fighting and blaming, increasing intimacy with one another.

Caduceus

This is a weekly health care professionals’ group for doctors, nurses, dentists, pharmacists, veterinarians and psychotherapists who need a supportive, therapeutic environment to help them maintain healthy recovery from substance abuse. Issues addressed include addiction, coping skills and dual diagnosis. An Emotionally Focused and psychodynamic orientation is used.

An individual assessment is required prior to being accepted into the group. There is a fee for the assessment and for the group.

Meetings
Weekly: Thursdays 3 p.m.- 5 p.m.

Cost: $40 per session

Personal Growth Group Therapy for Women

Using action methods, Transactional Analysis and Schema Focused therapy, this group therapy provides a structure to explore issues in the present and/or past that are getting in the way of living life more fully. Taking a psychodynamic approach, these issues often require exploring and re-working history.

Meetings
Every other Tuesday: 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.; Virtually

Cost: $60 per session

Women of Courage Group Therapy

This is a personal growth group for Women who want to address issues, both past and present, in a supportive group environment.

Meetings
Wednesdays: 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.; Online (Zoom).

Cost: $65 per session

Supervision and Training

Supervision and Training

Monica Forst offers individual and group supervision that is recognized by the College of Registered Psychotherapists (CRPO) for therapists working with individuals, couples, and groups. She offers a variety of training sessions that can be 3 hours to 3 days. These trainings combine experiential and didactic learning.
